House M.D Season 4 on AXN! I reckon it's an interesting show, with a mix of medicine, humor and most importantly (to me), sarcasm. Yeah, the show kinda inspires me too.
And currently in the polls, Cheng Sin is polled as smarter than close rival (and close other-sth) XF. Most prob is coz Janice is behind it. And most of the ppl in this blog wants music. Anyway, this is a quiz for you to relieve your studying stress! Beware though; this may bring you even more stress!
You have 3 strings which burn out in exactly 1 hour each. These strings are not uniform; some parts of the string burn faster than each other, some strings are shorter and thicker than other strings, BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER. They ALL burn out in 1 hour each, no matter what (unless you pour water over them).
The challenge: using these three strings (by burning them), how do you count 45 minutes down? Remember, no other “outside interferences”, no cutting them in half coz the string doesn’t burn uniformly throughout and most importantly, you MAY OR MAY NOT use all three strings.
